CELEBRATING A LEGEND: KWAME NKRUMAH

Every Septemper 18 is observed as a public holiday to mark the birthday of  Ghana's first president, The Right Honourable Kwame Nkrumah. Born on 18th September, 1909 in a small town called Nkroful in Ghana, the then Gold Coast, this gifted man proved that indeed we can use our voice to change the world.
With bravery he led Ghana to independence and has truly left footprints in the sands of time.
He believed so much in Africa’s potential. It is no suprise that he was one of the founding members of the organization of Africa Unity.
He rightfully once said, ’’I am not African because I was born in Africa but because Africa was born in me’’. Ghana, Africa and the whole world immensely cherish your contribution to the definition of leadership.
